America's Socialist Experiment

America has flirted with socialism and several signs point to its sound rejection in November.  I guess that does that!  Hold on – not so fast – there will be more socialism in our future.

1) America allowed an experiment in socialism to take place!  President Obama won the 2008 election for many reasons: he blurred the lines of who he was and what he stood for; with the exception of Sarah Palin, the McCain campaign was lackluster (without Palin, there would essentially have been no campaign); Barack Obama was a very smooth talker; the country felt poised to make history by electing our first black president.

What the election was not about was socialism, at least in the minds of those who voted for him.  Obama did not campaign on that and the country was not deciding that it wanted it.

But that’s what the country got!

2) America is poised to reject its experiment with socialism!  All signs are pointing to a historic reversal at the polls in November.  Dick Morris has just finished polling 6,000 likely . . .

The President Has Ruined His Branding    
(Article 2)

The average American might be a little stumped if asked to define the word “branding.”  They know it when they see it, however.  This article will define “branding” and then apply it to the president.  In the process, we will see how devastating he has been to his own branding.

At ____ ? ____, progress is our most important product.  Smile, you’re on ____ ? ____.  You’re in good hands with ____ ? ____.  General Electric, Candid Camera, Allstate are the correct answers.  You got them right, didn’t you?  That is “branding.”  It is getting across to the public the exact idea of who you are so that your name is always associated with a single idea.  How has the president branded himself?

1) Branding as it relates to liberals!  Because of his position as president, his branding affects three areas and this is one of them.  The president is a liberal, the most liberal Senator when he was in that body, and the leading liberal in America today.  His policies and the way he has sought to govern have put a “brand” on liberalism – and it is not good.

The American public now sees liberals as willing to put ideology ahead of what’s good for the . . .

 
Little Bits - The Gay Edition

The President’s clever election ploy on the gay marriage issue has kicked up a firestorm - one his team clearly didn’t expect.  The liberals are all over the airwaves with their talking points and several side issues have been raised.  Here are some thoughts for you to consider!

1) Why it is that President Obama can be in favor of gay marriage in 1996, opposed to it in 2004, for it in 2012 and be said to be “evolving” on the issue?  And why it is that any issue change by Mitt Romney makes him a flip-flopper?

2) What is the real goal of liberals in pushing the gay agenda?  It is to get the gay culture into education – which will ensure that our children receive its indoctrination.  Scary!

3) If “loving” gays should be permitted to marry and enjoy its benefits, how about letting “loving” brother/sister unions take place?  How about “loving” mother/son and “loving” father/daughter ones?

4) How about this: let’s legalize “loving” polygamous marriages!
